KITCHENS

Whether you are cooking, eating, gathering, or simply showcasing, the kitchen is arguably the most significant room in the home.

From elegance to color, to durability, Natural Stone has much to offer to meet the needs and desires of both function and design.

Before you begin your search for that “perfect” material, consider and ask yourself what role the material and design will play in your kitchen.

Since the various types of stones perform differently, this will help you narrow down the types of stones to consider for your kitchen project.

For example, if you love the look of marble, but you use your kitchen often for cooking and gathering, and you can’t bear the thought of an etch or a stain; then maybe you want to consider a lighter color granite with veins and movement, or an elegant and sophisticated natural Quartzite. All natural stones should be sealed (with the exception of soapstone), but the process is very quick and simple. We suggest you visit a natural stone showroom or distributor near you for a better variety and understanding of your options.

Often times you will find that after a comparison between man-made quartz slabs (aka engineered stone) and Natural Stone slabs; with natural stone, not only will you be able to include your connection or passion to the stone or it’s origin into your design, you will also have a bigger variety of colors and patterns to choose from at a more affordable price.
